Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina in the following year. Louise debuted in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the film. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Another notable character she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise Balfour was able to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she also has made her name as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
