Ina Garten, an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career in creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets for the White House. In the beginning, she found her work interesting and stimulating however, she eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the shop extremely popular prior to selling it before acquiring a pen to begin writing her first cookbook. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columnists that followed. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a huge success. Additionally, she offers everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina, who is self-taught and has not attended an institution for cooking or the hotel. Her name is ascribed to her straightforward method of cooking, and her effortless take on entertainment. She is known for her easy recipes like Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
