Zoe-perry
Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). She made her first appearances in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character which was played by her mother in the ABC show Roseanne. The parents of her didn't want her to take on acting roles until she was older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry, who was too shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry made her debut as an actress in New York after graduation, landing minor role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry come back to California and pursue a career as a stage actress. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway with her in The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she starred together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. Her father portrayed her in The ABC Drama Scandal. She was also cast in her role on the CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. She got the part through an open audition despite having a connection to the character.
